Wake County Transit Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC)
Upon adoption of the the Wake County Transit Plan and an associated Interlocal Governance Agreement (ILA) by the CAMPO Executive Board, GoTriangle Board of Trustees, and the Wake County Board of Commissioners, the Wake County Transit Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC) was created. The ILA made the CAMPO Executive Board and GoTriangle Board of Trustees responsible for ongoing technical and financial decisions related to plan implementation. The TPAC is a staff-level advisory committee comprised of agencies and local governments with jurisdiction in Wake County charged with coordinating planning and implementation aspects of the Wake County Transit Plan and serving in a structured advisory role to the CAMPO Executive Board and GoTriangle Board of Trustees.
The first meeting of the TPAC was held June 20, 2016. At the first meeting of the TPAC, the TPAC appointed CAMPO as the lead agency providing its ongoing administrative support. Ongoing meetings of the TPAC will continue in perpetuity to execute its responsibilities outlined in the ILA. While no permanent regular meeting schedule has been established by the TPAC, the TPAC will hold regular meetings through September 2016 on Wednesdays at 9am at CAMPO's administrative offices. Agendas for meetings of the TPAC will be posted here:
The next meeting of the TPAC will be held at 9:30am, Wednesday, July 19th at CAMPO's administrative offices. When available, the agenda materials for the meeting will be posted here:
